What is SCRIP?
SCRIP is a no-selling fundraising program that benefits your family and Assumption. SCRIP is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using gift cards in place of cash, checks and credit cards.  You and your family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, coworkers, etc) can purchase gift cards from Assumption SCRIP at face value.  Assumption coordinators purchase these cards at a reduced price.  The difference is an instant rebate for your SCRIP account and the school.
What's in it for me?
Raising money for your school and parish, of course! But now we have sweetened the deal.  After your family has earned $35 in rebates, profits will be split 50/50! The PTO will keep 50% and the other 50% will be applied as Assumption credit for the following school year. The earning period will be May 1, 2018-April 30, 2019. Totals earned for tuition credit will be deducted from your tuition for the 2019-2020 school year, Chromebook or 6th grade camp. You can keep track of the rebates you have earned by clicking "Reports" in the Family Functions on the Dashboard of your ShopWithScrip account.  The SCRIP Program Agreement (attached) needs to be filled out by all participating families.  You can have friends and family buy SCRIP from Assumption with the rebates going towards your SCRIP rebate total.  For those parents that have 8th graders who won't be able to use the tuition credit, your credit may be used to help fund the 8th grade graduation party.
How are rebates earned?
Each store has their own rate of return on gift cards.  All percentages listed on the paper form are the regular return and range from 1% - 16%. ShopWithScrip will offer promotional periods where a select amount of stores will have an increased rebate percentage.  You can find a list of current promotions under Special Offers when shopping on

****New for the 2018-2019 School Year****
As in the past, for every month you order scrip, your children will get a dress down pass for the following month.  The dress down day for Scrip will now be the last Friday of the month.  You will not get a pass with your order but you will get an email a few days before the dress down day reminding you that your children can dress down.  Dr. Hensley and all homeroom teachers will get a list of students who can dress down. All orders, no matter how small, will earn the dress down day.  All orders received June-August will earn the dress down day for September.  Orders received September 1-31 will earn a dress down pass for October, etc.
Also new for this year, the PTO will now cover all PrestoPay ordering fees for anyone earning at least $35 in rebates through the Scrip year May 1, 2018-April 30, 2019.  Signing up for PrestoPay is so easy and eliminates the need for a paper order form and check.  A refund of all 15cent fees will be included with your credit for tuition, chromebook or 6th grade camp.
