Catholic Schools’ Week Recap
It takes commitment of those who are faith-filled and education minded, to allow Assumption to stand strong for 150 years.  Your dedication to Catholic education has benefitted thousands of children living in O’Fallon over those years.  It is amazing that the people of 1871 felt so strongly that St. Peter’s was too far to travel for Sunday church that they asked for a parish and school in O’Fallon.
In celebration for all of those who have come before us, those who have had children attending previously and those currently enrolled – Thank YOU!
During Catholic Schools we celebrated our existence.
We began with Mass and Open House on Sunday, January 30th and featured the GRAND OPENING of our Early Childhood S.T.R.E.A.M. lab.  This lab is designed for PreK through 2nd grade students to develop skills in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
On Monday, we celebrated Parents, by giving them muffins at drop-off to thank them for sending their children to Assumption.  Of, course, the students could dress as their parents, and teachers mailed cards of thanks to parents:
