Assumption Students Compete and Place in 'The Great History Challenge'

Congratulations to Mrs. Stacy Chassanoil’s middle school students who competed in and took home multiple regional championships in The Great History Challenge Regional Competition at Westminster Christian Academy, Tuesday, Feb. 25. We are so proud of you!

• Audra Hicks: one of the 8th grade Regional Champions

• Chase Meyer: one of the 7th grade Regional Champions 

• Amelia Schlueter: one of the 6th grade Regional Champions and ranked in the top 5

The Great History Challenge is an exciting nationwide academic competition for middle school students that test their knowledge of history through trivia-style questions, with the regional stage being a local competition where top students from each school compete against each other to advance to the national championship. The regional champions from Assumption are all eligible to compete in the Championship in Orlando, May 23-25.
