Assumption Students Participate In Lenten Mass Challenge
Lent is an invitation to reflect, repent, and renew one's commitment to living a life of faith. There is no better way to do that than by celebrating our faith together at Mass. To help deepen our relationship with God during this Lenten season, we are inviting all of our school families (day and evening) to take part in our Lenten Mass Challenge.
Each weekend of Lent, you will find two QR codes in the Narthex of the church, one for the day school and one for PSR/Edge. Each time your family attends a weekend Mass during Lent, please scan the correct QR code, which will take you to a simple Google Form. On the form, please indicate your child(ren)'s name and teacher’s name. (You will be able to fill out the form for multiple children). All students who are in attendance at Mass over the six weekends of Lent will earn a special treat and gift from Assumption's religious education department during PSR class.
Out of town for a weekend during Lent? No big deal! Just bring Mrs. Holly Woytus, Director of Religous Education, a bulletin or send a picture from the church you visited, and she will mark your attendance for you.
We look forward to seeing you at Assumption Church. Please know you will be in our prayers during this Lenten season! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Woytus at hwoytus@abvmtech.org.
God Bless!
