Congratulations Fifth Grade D.A.R.E Graduates!

D.A.R.E to resist drugs and violence—that’s what the fifth-grade students at Assumption pledged to do during the spring 2025 D.A.R.E graduation ceremony with Officer Bryan Shepard of the O'Fallon Police Department.

Mrs. Julie Simms' class won the trophy for collecting the most soda tabs, and several students received honorable mentions during the event. Allison Hoermann and Stella Miller were recognized for being fearless leaders and were presented with the D.A.R.E Lion. Nicholas Schlueter and Brayden Richie were recognized for writing the top essays in their class, and Brayden was invited to read his winning essays at an upcoming O'Fallon City Council meeting.

Congratulations to all our fifth-grade students in Mrs. Andi Miles and Mrs. Simms classes for pledging to make good choices—we are so very proud of you!
