Welcome Cathy Nute!

We are excited to welcome Cathy Nute of Foley as our new Cafeteria Supervisor at Assumption School. Cathy comes to us with many years of experience, serving at Saints Joachim and Ann Catholic School as Cafeteria Director from 1998 until she retired in 2021. During that 25-year period, she prepared nutritious, home-style meals with a smile for the children and staff, and plans to carry on that tradition here.

“I am passionate about working with children and serving others in a faith-filled environment. I have a deep love for Catholic education and a passion for creating a warm, welcoming environment, where everyone feels cared for,” says Cathy Nute.

Cathy has three grandchildren attending Assumption School. As the new Cafeteria Supervisor, she is committed to planning menus and maintaining high standards, while taking care of our student’s lunch needs. One of the things she says she is excited to do, is bring back the salad bar as a daily option and create more healthy, homemade dishes for the children.

Cathy officially began her new role at Assumption on Monday, Nov. 3. When you see her, please give her a nice warm Assumption family welcome.
