Assumption Unveils Brand-New Look

A leader in education for 154 years, Assumption School in O’Fallon is excited to launch its redesigned logo with brand-new look. The private Catholic school is rolling out a new logo that better aligns the school's image with its mission, enhancing recognition and reflecting the school's values, vision and goals.

The new school logo features the color blue, which represents the purity of our Blessed Virgin Mother Mary; an open book, symbolizing knowledge and the gospel; and a cross with a heart signifying the school’s great love for the Lord. The school slogan Learning, Loving, Living Christ, remains in the new design and the school’s 1871 date of inception added. The new look replaces the previous design with a stick-like figurine, cross and sun.

“Our new logo is more than just a design — it’s a symbol of our mission,” said Mrs. Jamie Burbridge, Assumption School Principal. “It reflects our commitment to learning with open minds, loving with compassionate hearts, and living as followers of Christ each day. May this logo serve as a daily reminder of the faith and values that unite our loving school community.”

The rebrand marks a significant milestone for Assumption that better reflect the essence of our mission and who we are: United in Christ and guided by the spirit of our Blessed Mother, Assumption School is rooted in the Gospel message of love and acceptance. In educating the whole person as they learn, love, and live Christ, we transform each student through the power of faith and knowledge, inspiring each to bring Christ to the world

The new branding is rolling out across all platforms, including the school website, social media, and marketing materials at the start of the new fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and will debut on school uniforms just in time for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning Aug. 13, 2025.

Assumption School offers a private school education with strong academic programs in a faith-filled environment with smaller classroom sizes. With a separate Early Childhood Learning Center featuring a creative curriculum and a hands-on X-STREAM (science, technology, religion, engineering, art and math) classroom, our preschool and kindergarten students have the foundation for academic success and the resources to continue that success at the elementary school level. Our test results show that Assumption students consistently exceeded learning expectations in Math and Reading. 78% of our students achieve at or above the 50th percentile in Math and 71% of our students score above or at the 50th percentile in Language Usage.
